Welcome to St. Columba's College Science Department's Resource Website. St. Columba’s College is one of Ireland’s leading secondary schools and is particularly specialised in the provision of a high-quality boarding education for its pupils. Founded in 1843, and combining the best of traditional and modern architecture, the College occupies nearly 150 acres in the foothills of the Dublin mountains, overlooking Dublin Bay. Although the grounds have a rural ‘feel’, the College is only seven miles from the city centre and 30 minutes from the airport and principal rail and bus stations. For more information about St. Columba's College click here to visit the main school site.
